On the heels of the highly successful shows of 2020 & 2022, Portland luminaries reunite to honor Harrison’s music and philanthropy.

8 PM Oct 21st at Revolution Hall

Portland, OR - October 21, 2023, Mark Bowden, of SonicButter/PDX, presents The 3rd Annual George Harrison Celebration. Sponsored by The Jeremy Wilson Foundation and co-hosted by The Alberta Abbey and MusicPortland, the concert brings together more than 30 prominent Pacific Northwest musicians to reprise George Harrison’s legendary triple album, All Things Must Pass, combined with highlights from The Concert For Bangladesh (1971), live on stage at Revolution Hall.

The first set, like our sold-out 2020 performance, will present The Concert for George and will cover the first four sides of Harrison’s magnum opus, the 1970 triple album All Things Must Pass, along with a wide-ranging retrospective of Harrison's solo career.

Set two will reprise our 2022 performance highlighting The Concert for Bangladesh, which was Harrison’s and Ravi Shankar’s remarkable benefit for Bangladeshi refugees and will include some of Bob Dylan’s biggest hits.

became a watershed moment in the history of music and art, succeeding in Harrison’s intent to propel social justice and change,” explains Bowden. “It is not a stretch to say the Live Aid shows of 1985 were made possible by The Concert for Bangladesh leading the way and setting the model.”

To honor George Harrison's philanthropic nature and support for the arts, a portion of the proceeds go to The Jeremy Wilson Foundation (JWF) Musician Health & Services Program. JWF founder and Dharma Bums frontman, Jeremy Wilson, also performs in the show.

Tickets for the all-ages show are $39 and available through Revolution Hall and Etix.
